「喂宝宝安眠药」修改为了「喂宝宝吃糖助眠」¹
黑心奶粉与大头娃娃相关的描述修改为了「网上购买到了质量不好的奶粉」
班长竞选时的「我爸是部长」与其他「带有政治隐喻的文本」修改为了「我爸是优秀工人，是我的榜样」
李若放与「夜店小野猫」在最近的版本故事被修改为了她是驻唱歌手

Steam 大陆锁区与 Wegame 下架#

2020年7月21日，椰岛游戏在游戏的 Steam 更新日志里称:

Chinese Parents - A temporary maintenance for the Chinese version

In order to provide Chinese players with a better game. we would temporarily remove the game in mainland China for a few months. And will soon bring it back after the maintenance is over.

Please be noticed that this only affect the players in mainland China²

2020年7月22日上午11时，使用大陆区访问《中国式家长》的 Steam 游戏页面会显示:「您所在的地区目前不提供此物品」。³
